Article: What is Web 2.0 style Logo?
A Question:
Trends,Failure,Importance or Evolution?
See for example the Apple logo, what do you think? The sample from 1976 looks like it's from 1876 and it's a good demonstration for evolution. Look Firefox logo now, do you see any difference? Probably yes... full of colors, with tons of gradients. Now this is a typical web 2.0 logo.
Web 2.0 use:
1. Using gradients
2. Shiny colors
3. Non-serif
4. Applying shadows
5. Reflections
6. The typical shine
7. Made with different Logo generators
8. Using on sites and Applications created before 2004.
9. Callouts
10. 3D
11. Strokes
12. Labels
13. Beta info
14. Round corners
15. Square Background
16. Exist with a symbol and a text
17. Sometimes the name don't make any sense.
Then why people create them?
Because they are interesting and modern. Look
E-buddy for example. And some even look original like Flickr.
So that is pretty much it! In a nutshell.
I Hope you've enjoyed it, thanks!
