webArticle: Southwest Airlines Boarding Pass Process

Southwest Airlines Boarding Pass Process
The airline which is known as world's largest low-cost carrier airline was established in 1967 by Herb Kelleher. More than 53,000 employees are managing more than 3,900 departures a day during the peak travel season. It is controlling its operation from Dallas, Texas. Southwest has scheduled services to 101 destinations in the United States and eight additional countries. The largest operator of the Boeing 737 worldwide offers a quick, easy, and efficient boarding process, which makes it different from the race.
A passenger needs to look at your boarding pass to find his/her assigned boarding group (A, B, or C) or boarding position (1 - 60). He/she needs to stand by the column with the number on it (until the turn comes) when the concerned group is called.
Southwest Airlines management starts boarding as early as half an hour before the flight’s scheduled departure time. So, the passengers are requested to arrive in the gate area before counting starts. If a passenger or group of passengers does not obtain the boarding passes at least 10 minutes before flight’s scheduled departure time, Southwest management may cancel the reserved space. Even the Southwest Airlines Reservations Phone Number can’t help a passenger in that situation.
